Frequently asked questions
- Are my images uploaded anywhere?
- No. The resizer runs entirely in your browser using the canvas API — your photos never leave your device, so it works even offline once the page has loaded.
- How do I keep the aspect ratio?
- Leave “Lock aspect ratio” on and edit either the width or height — the other dimension updates automatically to keep the image from stretching.
- Which formats can I export?
- You can save your resized image as JPG, PNG, or WebP. WebP usually gives the smallest file at the same visual quality.
- Can I enlarge an image?
- Yes — switch to percentage mode and go above 100%, or type a larger width. Note that enlarging can’t add detail that wasn’t captured, so very large upscales may look soft.
